“Student Centred and Quality services” are the hallmarks of Dewey College’s educational philosophy. The College strives to enable all our students to reach high levels of achievement and to acquire the knowledge, skills, and values they need to contribute to the well being of a global economy.

Chairman’s Message

As a leading member of Dewey Educational Group, Dewey College stands tall among private colleges in Ontario, Canada. At Dewey College, we understand the challenges that are in store for students. Our mission is to support students with the challenges they face and to help them reach their goals. As a former Director of Education in the province of Ontario and Private School Inspector, I know how important it is to choose the right school for your child. Parents who select this college can have confidence that we will strive to guide their children in making wise decisions so that, after their studies here, they will gain admission to and become successful graduates of a Canadian university or college.

We provide a rich language environment at Dewey College where all teachers focus on language learning and take every opportunity to help students practice English. The college fosters students’ skills and teaches them to solve problems independently and to work co-operatively with others.

We, at Dewey College, believe that it is critical to teach students to apply what they learn, which results in a balanced education – a balance of knowledge and application. Teachers encourage students to use their judgement in applying their knowledge to a problem. Applying what you know has to be tempered with knowing how to apply what you know and this means using your judgement well. Good judgement is the key to success in life.

Dewey College encourages students to be diligent in their school work, to persevere through difficult times, and to do their best. With the guidance of teachers and of the College’s administrative staffs, students will reach their port of dreams, sailing with the wind and sometimes against it. But sail they must and not drift or lie at anchor.

We Value Each Student Highly. Along with Ontario’s strong education system, Dewey College offers a student-centred environment, world-class curriculum, professional management, skilled teachers, high quality facilities, strong partnership with universities, and a full range of services for students.
